Picture That

One of the best inventions to come along in recent years is the digital camera. I shoot tons of pictures, and I know I can just delete the ones I don't want. That gives me a lot more freedom to "waste film" on anything I want. So happy it has gone that direction.

The only downside is not being able to do double-exposures or time-lapse shots. Maybe you can do that too, and I just haven't figured out how to do it yet. Oh well......

Walkin' on the Back

One of the neat things about having kids is having them walk on your back. Now that one kid has reached 4, he's able to walk on my back like my 7-year-old can. The 7-year-old goes a few steps further and either digs her heels into my back, or gets off my back and pounds my back with the heels of her feet. Either way, it's a great way to relax...

Duckpin Bowling

I took my son to a birthday party yesterday that was held at a local duckpin lanes. It was his first time bowling and he bowled a 31 (half of a normal game). It was fun to watch him get interested in making that ball move down the lanes--from pushing it between his legs to lofting the ball a few times. Probably the funniest part were his hands-on-hips as he watched his ball slowly bounce back and forth across the barriers to the gutters, then as it knocked a few pins over.
